Gasses or dangerous vapours can occur in any work place at any time. This is something to be aware of. The atmosphere in any space may be oxygen-deficient or oxygen-enriched and/or contain flammable and/or toxic gases or vapours. These may be very harmful for human beings, the environment or both. Therefore it is particularly important to be able to recognize these gasses and toxins as well being able to take the right measures if those gasses are identified.
One of the dangerous gasses is H2S which is hydrogen sulphide. It is a gas which has a strong odor that is simialar to the smell of rotten eggs.
During this course, participants will learn how to effectively measure the air condition and how to use the results of the gas measuring in order to increase the air quality or to safely work in that particular atmosphere.
